Thank you very much for a wonderful week! The flowers were beautiful, the cards were sweet, and the gift cards are always very much appreciated! Our lunches were also delicious. Thank you for everything you do for us and our classroom!

Reading -sight word: here -word family: review -community helpers -research Math -fact families Thank you to everyone who volunteered at Field Day today. Although it was cold, we had a lot of fun! Next week, March 28, 2019, is our musical! Please bring your child down to the classroom at 5:30. Children should wear either jeans or dark pants. Shirts will be provided. You will pick your child back up in our classroom after the musical. We hope to see you there!! Kindergarten Registration is on March 27-28, 2019. If you either have an upcoming Kindergartener or know of a family who does, please spread the word so that we can get everyone registered for next year. Sign and return papers came home yesterday. If you have not returned the packet of papers, please return it on Monday. Have a wonderful weekend! Next week we will cover the following skills: Reading -signs of spring -map skills -sight word: away -word family: -ock -writing to inform Math -mixed addition and subtraction We will have a busy week next week. On Monday, we will go on our field trip to the Teaching Museum. Please remember to pack a lunch if you signed up to bring a home lunch. We will not eat at our normal lunch time so please do not plan to join us for lunch on this day. We will begin practicing for our Kindergarten Musical. Report cards will come home on Wednesday. Please sign the envelope and return it the next day. On Friday, March 22, we will participate in Field Day. Fingers crossed for nice weather. Please wear either your field day shirt or a light blue or navy shirt (depending on your team) and tennis shoes. Please send a water bottle. Feel free to wear hats. We hope that you can either come to volunteer or to cheer us on! We will eat lunch in our classroom so please don’t plan on joining us for lunch. We appreciate your donations! Our class earned many fun class prizes that we will do over the next few weeks. We had so much fun at the Fun Run today! Congratulations to Shep who raised the most money in Kindergarten and was able to pie Flying Bryan! Next week we will celebrate Exceptional Child Week with the following activities: Tuesday: Hat/Crazy Hair Day Wednesday: Wear Red Save the Date: Our K Musical will be performed on Thursday, March 28th, at 6 PM. We hope that everyone will be able to join us. If your child will not be able to come back to school for the musical that night, please let me know so that I can plan accordingly.
