Reading -letters: c (hard and soft sound), n -sight word: to -5 senses Math -counting to 100 -skip counting -counting sets Don't forget that our new PE days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays now. The children are doing a great job learning their sight word cards. Please continue to practice each night along with reading aloud. The September Homework Calendar will be sent home on Tuesday. Please work on it each day and send the completed calendar and packet back at the end of the month. Check out our class picture on Twitter! Have a great long weekend!

Happy Monday!
Beginning this week, we will have PE on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Please make sure your child wears tennis shoes to school on these two days. Thank you! Next week we will cover the following skills:

Please continue to practice your sight word cards and send them back to school when your child is ready to test and get a new card. Picture Day is Wednesday. Everyone will have their picture taken for the yearbook. If you would like to order pictures, please send back the order form no later than Wednesday. This night is for Parents only. Please report to your child’s classroom at 6:30 pm as we will start promptly. Please make sure that your child gets plenty of sleep each night and eats a good breakfast. Several of the children are complaining of being hungry before we go to lunch. We don't eat our snack until the afternoon. Please label your child's snack with their name each day. Have a wonderful weekend! We had a great first week in Kindergarten! We learned more about our classroom and school, made new friends, and had a lot of fun!

Please make sure your child wears tennis shoes to school. -Please pack a small snack each day labeled with your child’s name. Please pack it separate from the lunch so your child can easily find it and put it in the snack bin when they arrive. -Please label all water bottles and send only water (no juice, milk). Packing a separate drink (juice, milk, etc) in the lunch box is fine. -Please check the blue folder (CJ) every day and send it back the following day. Remove all items from the “Keep at Home” side. Tomorrow is our first day of Kindergarten! I am so excited to see all 19 of our students bright and early. Please don't forget to have your child wear their name tag to school.
Either pack a lunch or make sure your child has money on their lunch account. Please send a small snack (labeled with your child's name) as well. If you have any questions, please let me know.
