Dear Kindergarten Parents,
Kindergarten is very excited to celebrate Holidays Around the World on December 17-19, 2018. This event supports our Social Studies curriculum. Each Kindergarten teacher will do a presentation of one of five international winter holidays. These holidays will include Christmas, Hanukkah, Las Posadas, Seollal, and Teng Chieh. The children will rotate to each classroom with our assistants and learn about different winter holiday customs around the world. If you have any non-religious objects related to any of these holidays that we could use to display during our celebrations, please send it to your child’s teacher by Friday, December 14th. Thank you and we look forward to an exciting cultural experience! Next week we will be covering the following skills:
