Children are encouraged to dress up like they are 100 years old!! We will do various activities throughout the day with the number 100. It will be a fun day! We will celebrate Valentine's Day on Feb. 13th with a card exchange. If your child participates, please send a card for each child in our class. We have 20 children. Since the weather has been colder, please make sure your child wears a jacket to school each day. Since we are getting closer to first grade, please have your child practice tying his or her shoes. This is a very important skill in order for your child to become more independent. Earlier in the week, an email from Dolvin concerning sickness was sent. If your child has a fever or is not feeling well, please keep them at home until they feel well again and are fever-free for at least 24 hours. We are encouraging children to wash their hands throughout the day in order to stop the spread of germs. Thank you very much for the cards for my birthday, lunch, and the books for our classroom. Thank you for thinking of me! Have a great weekend!
