This week we will cover the following skills:
Reading -letters: d and f -sight word: and -characteristics of rocks -signs of fall/scarecrows -drawing a picture and writing a sentence about it -rhyming words Math -counting sets -counting to 100 by ones and tens -counting on beginning at different numbers Please continue to label your child's snack with their name each day. When practicing sight word cards, be sure to go back and review old cards already learned. Begin to point out these words in books while you read aloud to your child. We are beginning to make our individual learning goals for September. We used our data binders to determine what we need to work on. Goals will be posted on Seesaw. Please help your child practice their goal (example: letter sounds, counting to 100, writing their last name, etc.). Later this week, I will send out a Sign Up Genius for Mystery Reader. You need to be an approved volunteer in order to sign up. Conferences will take place in October. A sign up with be emailed later in the week. Thank you to everyone who donated to Boost for Bahamas!
